SlaughterHouse Rootz came to be as it is now in June 2007, when Wyatt, Kyle and Heroic d met at a show at Denver's Larimer Lounge...
"A brief history of SHR goes like this: we met, got lifted, played music and drunken debauchery, killer house parties, stoned shows, cops, and crazy mountain adventures ensued! Soon after we found a Byrd who happened to love THC and Stoopid too... house parties, more shows, drinking, smoking, more smoking, more house parties, more cops, Hellga, touring, smoking, shows, shows, shows, the album! Then more shows, midwest tour, jail, SXSW, more shows, parties, shows ... "
Now the band brings it's unique style of ganja rock/ska-hop/americana slop from it's World Headquarters in Denver Colorado. On any given weekend you can find the boys out playing a show somewhere along the Front Range, on the road, or on a disc course with the fruits.. SlaughterHouse Rootz is one of the hardest partying bands in the region, pushing the limits and smoking out the scene.
