With reggae beats ringing in their ears the guys create a fun upbeat mix that reminds some of the Clash and Sublime. Born in Colorado's skate, punk, and ganja scenes, SHR have been about the Vibe from day one.
SHR have long been known as a party on and off stage. Lets just say shit can get bananas.
While bands often conform to market demands for fame and money, SHR buck the trend with a garage band DIY mentality and disdain for elegance. After nearly a decade and a half, the band refuses to upgrade their equipment or tune their instruments while continuing to dub out smooth simple hip-hop bass lines with punk and blues guitar, on a bed of quick punk ska beats, one-dropped into slow jams.
The music goes on. SHR goes on. The party goes on.
Who will be joining the guys this go around? We shall see.
